Article: Removing Grafitti with flower power

Removing Grafitti with flower power

Removing Grafitti with flower power

We are not used to people tagging houses in Pataholm, so I never had the chance to try SÅPA on graffiti.

Here in Basel, I found the opportunity, since the door to our house has received a selection of tags.

First, I used the SÅPA spray together with a normal kitchen sponge made from cellulose and coconut fibre. I soon realised I needed a bit more concentration, so I applied the SÅPA directly to the sponge. I needed to do quite a bit of scrubbing, and I am sure it would have been easier with something rougher, but it worked!

I managed to get rid of about 50% of the tags on our door, which I consider a success. I mean, imagine what the alternative would have been? The usual thing to use would be a strong graffiti remover or some other harsh cleaning product.

And here I was able to remove the tags with nothing but the power of flowers.

I used the Ceder SÅPA for our door, but you could just as well use the Original SÅPA without essential oils.

Because that is all SÅPA is: an all-round cleaner made from the oil of the seeds of the little blue flax flower.

By the way, I also realised that our door is pretty much the colour of flax flowers. I love this. What a coincidence!
